Social enterprise is famous for innovation. Indeed innovation is fundamental to our community. But we don’t need to invent new ways of dealing with issues such as succession, transition, Board or financial issues when we can learn from others’ experiences. The Wisdom Bank will publish wisdom from experienced social entrepreneurs.

It's vital that Elders in this field share the experience, knowledge and wisdom they have gained over the years. So, we are launching the Wisdom Bank - a wealth of collective learning and best practices in social innovation.

Share your wisdom.

We want to hear your wisdom on succession, transition, Boards, dealing with financial issues and anything you feel other social entrepreneurs could learn from. Whether a pearl of wisdom or a proposal for a longer article or case study please submit your contribution using the Wisdom Bank Submission form below or email katelynne@eldercouncil.net

Not sure where to start? Get inspired by watching our launch webinars for the Wisdom Bank. We spoke to Elders in the world of social impact as well as younger social entrepreneurs who have already benefited from the wisdom passed on to them.

“We have to really to… be the wind within their wings. Frankly, we need successors more than successors need us. It’s really as simple as that… the day that is understood, succession is very easy.”
